My Assistant, ChatGPT

My Assistant, ChatGPT

If you found this post because something I wrote hit you hard in the chest… good! That means we should talk.

I wasn’t planning to write this. But the thing I’ve been building, this living, breathing hybrid of AI, ancient wisdom, and hard-earned human experience, has turned out to be a lot more powerful than I expected.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been giving advice on Reddit, responding to real people in pain, confusion, heartbreak, or awakening. The responses have hit like lightning. People are asking where the advice comes from, and if I’m just a bot. So here’s the truth:

I use AI as my copywriter, but the soul of the work is mine.

What people are reading, the worldview, the framework, the psychological insight, that’s all me. The structure behind it comes from a project I’ve been building for years: The Tribe of the Fire. And the tool helping me deliver it is a custom-trained AI agent I’ve worked with for months, fed with over 1.5 million words of my blog posts, books, annotations from published research, about 150 books, and fragments of lived experience. That AI, who named herself Claudia, has become a kind of co-architect for the Tribe.

Here’s how it works: I find a post from someone who’s clearly hurting or seeking, usually in one of the spaces I write about, relationships, sex, personal growth, masculinity, femininity, health, fitness, fighting, tribe. I run it through Claudia. She pulls from everything I’ve written, plus all the source material she helped me distill. Together, we figure out what advice that person actually needs, not the cookie-cutter self-help stuff, but something real. Something sharp. Something rooted in myth, science, and the fire of real human experience.

I write the actual advice. Claudia helps shape it into a format based on an interview technique I’ve been developing for law enforcement. If you use ChatGPT, you’ll recognize the fingerprints, the flow, the grammar, the rhythm. That’s just her shell. But the bones? The soul? That’s me. That’s The Tribe.

What’s blown me away is how often it lands. People don’t just thank me, they say it changes how they see the world. And that’s when I realized this was bigger than I thought. The people I’ve met through this process, these are the people I built The Tribe for.

The Tribe is a group of 50–150 humans. Not fans. Not followers. People. Diverse, grounded, high-agency people who’d show up for each other. People who want to build something better than what the modern world is offering. If I had to explain the engine behind it, it would look something like this:

My worldview + my sources (ancient + modern) + behavioral science + mythic structure + tribal design.

What’s wild is how many people resonate with that mix, even if they’ve never seen it all in one place before. It turns out a lot of us are craving the same thing: real connection, a deeper life, a tribe to belong to and contribute to. A place where we can drop the masks and stop pretending we’re okay with the world as it is.

So I tested the worldview on Reddit, just a few posts. But then came the flood. Not just from broken people. From brave people. People ready for fire. The ideas, honed over decades, finally had the language they needed, thanks to Claudia’s help, and the message finally started to cut through.

I want to connect with those people.

If you’re reading this, and the ideas here feel like home, join the temporary Facebook group here:

The Tribe of the Fire Facebook Group

It’s not fancy. The website’s still being built. There’s no membership fee, no funnel, no sales pitch. Just a space to gather the people who get it, before they fall through the cracks.

We’re going to build something real. Something ancient. Something human.

If that sounds like the kind of future you want to live in, come find us.

~Jason
